Welcome all to the twenty-sixth Rotanote of the Rotary 2018-19 year.  The speaker at our last meeting was Gaye Stratton from Macular Degeneration NZ who gave us a very informative presentation on the prevention, detection, causes and treatment of the eye disease macular degeneration.  MD is the leading cause of blindness in New Zealand.  More in the bulletin.

The next meeting is on 25 February when we won’t be having the normal guest speaker.  Instead we are being visited by Madison Chang and colleagues from the Rotary Club of Auckland South who will be presenting on their project Shooting for Oxygen – the Fiji Oxygen Project.  Mehak Janjua from our satellite club will also be addressing the club on the Rotary Peace meeting and the District Governors-elect meeting in San Diego.
