This week our speakers were Dr Peter Freestone from the University of Auckland updating us on his ground breaking research into the use of light in the brain to influence brain cells and Sue Brewster from the Auckland Medical Research Foundation who have been supporting Peter’s research. Next week we have Barney Irvine from the Automobile Association who is going to remind us about Auckland’s transport woes and how little the council and government are doing to come up with sustainable long term fixes.
