Welcome all to the eleventh Rotanote for the Rotary 2023-24 year. Last meeting it was back to the Good George pub in Mission Bay where co-President Derek Bond updated us on future club activities. Also covered was upcoming Rotary youth projects and an update on Dennis Millard’s bike ride from Cape Reinga to Bluff to raise funds for charity. Co-President Bevan Iles also gave us an update on the University of Auckland move from Epsom to the city campus.
Our next meeting is our visit to The Helier retirement village in St Heliers on Monday, 11 March 2024 for dinner and a bit of a tour.
The following week it’s off to the Howick Club for a joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Pakuranga when our speaker will be Steve Farrelly from the Breakfast Club – see the note in the bulletin.
