Welcome all to the forty-second Rotanote for the Rotary 2021-22 year. This week we had our annual Club Assembly. Read about it and more in the bulletin.
Next week our speaker is Professor Susan Morton who is the principal investigator on New Zealand’s biggest longitudinal study – Growing Up in New Zealand. The study, now in its 15th year, will publicly release its latest findings in the coming months – on its cohort of about 6,800 children. This release focuses on the children aged eight and its exact timing will depend on a number of factors, not the least of which is the impact of the lockdown, or post-lockdown, world. With information on education, health and poverty, the goal is to provide evidence and stories that can inform good public policy.
